Roscoe Communications was appointed in spring 2022 to provide marketing and communications expertise to We and AI, a non-profit organisation aimed at raising awareness and understanding of AI amongst the general UK population.

The remit covers communications for a research project called Better Images of AI, led by Dr Kanta Dihal from the University of Cambridge.

The project looks at the need for the right representation of AI in the media, helping to ensure the public see a realistic portrayal of artificial intelligence and to form an accurate understanding.

The team will be working with journalists, academics, ethicists, technical experts and artists to create conversations about representation of AI.

The research project is run in partnership with BBC Research and Development and the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence. Lauren worked with the We and AI team until January 2023.
