Geevor Tin Mine

Lauren started working with Geevor Tin Mine on the development of a new website from October 2018, managing the project from developing a brief to appointing an agency, from copywriting through to final delivery.

Roscoe Communications was then contracted in 2020 on a strategic marketing review of their communications activity, making recommendations on long and short term plans for their brand.

Geevor Tin Mine gives you the opportunity to visit a real mine and learn what life was like for a Cornish miner.. The stunning Cornish coastline around Pendeen was once at the heart of the Cornish tin and copper mining industry.

Geevor is is the largest preserved mine site in the country, and is now a visitor attraction and heritage centre on Cornwall’s Tin Coast. Take the underground trip into 18th century Wheal Mexico Mine to discover what it was like being deep in the heart of the coastline.

It tells the story of the Cornish tin and copper mining industry, with many former miners volunteering their time to tell visitors what life was like working in the mines in Cornwall.
