The Rockpool Project

The Rockpool Project is a social enterprise that encourages people of all ages to discover the incredible marine life found around Cornwall's beautiful coast.

Lauren was brought in to work with Ben Holt, founder of the Rockpool Project, on an audit of the marketing activity of the organisation in 2020, and to create a strategic marketing report with full recommendations on moving the marketing and communications activity of The Rock Pool Project moving forward.

Their expert marine biologists offer bespoke private rockpool safaris for up to eight people, educational group field trips and public beach events. They can also bring marine wildlife to customers with a unique interactive mobile rockpool.

Set up in 2018, their original focus was working with Cornish schools and colleges. The team, led by Dr Ben Holt, have since made the decision to diversify into private sessions targeting holidaymakers to Cornwall in order to create a more sustainable business model.
